HARRISBURG, Pa. — Small businesses in Harrisburg struggling because of the coronavirus oubtreak may soon have help on the way.
In a Facebook Live address, Harrisburg Mayor Eric Papenfuse said that local officials are working to establish a grant program.
"The city of Harrisburg and Impact Harrisburg and, indeed, an economic development team and task force we put together is looking at how we can establish a grant fund for small businesses, so that when we get back up-and-running, there will be money that won't have to be paid back available for qualifying small businesses," Papenfuse said.
The program will be designed for small businesses worried about incurring more debt.
