Cigna-HealthSpring is now Cigna

 

If you’ve sold Cigna for a few years, you’ll know that we used the name Cigna-HealthSpring for several years. Last year, we shifted our brand to simply Cigna, better aligning us with our mission to improve the health, well-being and peace of mind of those we serve in any way. The superior service that we currently offer to you, the robust plans we offer to your customers and the high-quality network providers remain second-to-none.

 

What you should do

 

Please be sure that your customers understand we are Cigna.

·     If they call a provider to inquire about whether or not their plan is in-network, they should ask if the provider accepts Medicare Advantage plans from Cigna, as Cigna has many different types of plans available across the country.

·     An even easier way to determine this is by visiting the online provider directory. You or your customer can find this by going to Cigna.com/Medicare and clicking on Find a Doctor. This is updated regularly as providers are added to Cigna’s Medicare network and is the most up-to-date way of determining network eligibility.

 

Check your branding agreement

·     If you have a branding agreement for your business and you are using a Cigna-HealthSpring logo on your website or marketing materials, please contact your Broker Services Representative or the Cigna Agent Resource Line (CARL) to update with the correct logo.
