Health Partners
Medicare wants to tell you more about the SilverSneakers® and
Over the Counter drug benefit available to Health Partners
Medicare members. Additionally, we have a Wellness Rewards
Program that can help our members meet their everyday needs.
|
|
This free fitness
benefit provides access to 16,000+ fitness locations nationwide.
Classes are designed for all fitness levels and led by trained
instructors. Members can enroll at multiple locations anytime.
Members also get online resources like SilverSneakers On-Demand
and workout programs tailored to their own fitness levels. With
all the options, members can find the fitness program that is
right for them.
Members need a
program ID number, which they can get by visiting silversneakers.com
and creating an account. They can also call 1-888-423-4632,
Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. When they complete the
enrollment process at the fitness center of their choice, members
should provide their ID number.

Over-the-Counter Drug Benefit
|
Health Partners
Medicare Prime and Special members enjoy coverage
for over-the-counter health items. Prime members have a $25
allowance every month. Special members have a $300 allowance
every three months of the plan year. Unused amounts do not
carry over to the next benefit period.
OTC items can be
ordered online or by phone. To place a phone order or to
request a printed copy of the catalogs, members should call
Member Relations at 1-866-901-8000 (TTY 1-877-454-8477).
Orders will be
shipped in 3-5 business days. There is no charge for shipping.

This isn’t a new
program for 2020, but we wanted to make sure you know about it.
Members who complete eligible activities, such as seeing their
PCP once a year, will receive money on a Wellness Rewards card.
The Wellness
Rewards card can be used to purchase eligible health and
wellness items at any Walmart, Rite Aid, CVS, Walgreens, Dollar
General or Family Dollar stores.
Note: The
Wellness Rewards Program is different from the OTC drug
benefit. Money on the Wellness Rewards Card cannot be used to
purchase items from the OTC catalog and OTC benefit money
cannot be used for the Wellness Rewards program.
