The rates are effective for any new business with a signature date of April 1, 2020 or later requesting an effective date of April 1, 2020 or later.
Please refer to the points below to determine which rates should be applied for new applications:
- All Medicare Supplement applications signed before April 1, 2020 will receive the current 3-28-19 rates.
- Any Medicare Supplement application signed on or after April 1, 2020, requesting an effective date of April 1, 2020, or later, will receive the new 4-1-20 rates.
- Any Medicare Supplement application re-dated on or after April 1, 2020 will receive the new 4-1-20 rates.
