To get access to high-quality care from home, work,or anywhere in-between, your account's employees can use UPMC AnywhereCare.

With UPMC AnywhereCare—our telemedicine service—your account's employees can have a Virtual Urgent Care visit with a high-quality provider 24/7*, without an appointment.  All they need is an internet-connected computer or mobile device.

UPMC AnywhereCare providers can address nonemergency conditions, such as cold and flu symptoms, earaches, bronchitis, sinus infections and seasonal allergies. They can even send prescriptions to employees’ preferred pharmacies when medications are needed. UPMC patients’ electronic medical records will be updated to reflect their UPMC AnywhereCare visits. This keeps their primary care providers informed.

Low-cost, high-quality treatment

UPMC AnywhereCare visits typically cost less than standard urgent care visits, and they are much less expensive than being treated for a nonemergency condition in an emergency department. UPMC Health Plan members can have a UPMC AnywhereCare visit for as little as a $5 copay** within five minutes***.

*Patients located in Pennsylvania at the time of the service will have a virtual visit with a UPMC-employed provider. Patients outside of Pennsylvania will receive care from a provider employed or contracted by Online Care Network II PC.

**Check plan documents for details. Contact your account manager about updating benefit designs to include the $5 copay at their next renewal.  Persons not covered by UPMC Health Plan can also use AnywhereCare at a cost of $59 per visit.
