UPMC has agreed to treat Highmark's Community Blue Medicare PPO members on an out-of-network basis without
any pre-payment requirements or other provisions. UPMC has
confirmed they will only ask for a pre-payment for Highmark Community Blue Medicare HMO members who do not have an out-of-network
benefit. Your clients should contact Member Services at
1-888-757-2946 with any specific questions and/or
concerns.
