If you have clients losing access to their Medicare Supplement plan with another carrier, they have a Guaranteed Issue Right to select a new Medicare Supplement plan or shop for a Medicare Advantage plan.

Medicare Advantage:

  • $0 PPO Plan
  • $0 Primary Care Visit IN/OON
  • $0 Copay for all Tier 1 Generic Rx
  • $2,000 Comprehensive Dental Coverage; this includes dentures, fillings, extractions, crowns, and more
  • $75 OTC Allowance - once per quarter 

Medicare Supplement: 

Now through December 31st, Highmark is extending a unique opportunity for your Pennsylvania clients currently enrolled in a non-Highmark Medicare Supplement plan, who may be interested in Whole Health Balance* but don’t want to risk losing their preferred rate status by switching, to enroll in a Highmark Medigap Blue plan!

In order to qualify:

  • Enrollment must be:
    • Same letter plan* (e.g. Plan G to Plan G)
    • Rate to rate (e.g. Preferred/ Non-tobacco to Preferred)
    • For an effective date of January 1, 2020​​​​​​

*Applicants must purchase Whole Health Balance.  

OR

  • ​​​​Include your client's current Medicare Supplement termination letter for their Guaranteed Issue Right to enroll!

Whole Health Balance: 

This program allows members to add vision, hearing, dental, and fitness benefits to their Medigap Blue plan for an additional monthly cost. Members can now enjoy routine coverage for these popular benefits that Medicare does not cover, while keeping the freedom of their current Medigap Blue plan!
