Effective January 1, 2020, Geisinger Health Plan will no longer offer Medicare Supplement healthcare coverage plans. GHP has offered Medicare Supplement since 2011 and currently covers about 1,000 members. Members can call 800-446-6968 (TTY 711; seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.) with any questions. If you currently receive commission for Medicare Supplement members, this change will be reflected in your commission reporting after January 1.
Geisinger Gold Classic Complete Rx
The Geisinger Gold team is excited about our plans for the upcoming plan year! All of our current plans will remain stable for 2020, with no significant benefit or premium changes.
Geisinger Gold Classic Complete Rx (HMO) offers comphrehensive benefits with low, fixed copays and no deductible. It includes extra benefits for vision, hearing, dental and fitness services.
Geisinger Gold Classic Complete Rx
Classic Complete Rx will be available across all 44 counties in our service area for plan year 2020. Benefits include:
$38 premium
$4,900 maximum out-of-pocket
$5 copay for PCP
$200 for days 1-5 of inpatient hospital stays
$245 for outpatient hospital services
$0 copay for vaccines
Dental coverage up to $500 with crowns and root canals
Hearing aid benefit with a $500 copay per ear, up to $3,000 per ear, every 3 years
