Don't forget, check the fax number or mailing address before sending in paper applications
Make sure you double check the fax number or mailing address before sending in 2020 MA/MAPD enrollment applications starting October 15. Mailing addresses and fax numbers vary by plan and some have changed for 2020. If an enrollment application is sent to the wrong spot, it will cause significant delays and the application may be denied.
Remember, you're not permitted to market plans/benefits until October 1 and you must be “ready to sell” for 2020 before doing so. Also, you cannot accept, collect or take possession of a completed AEP enrollment application prior to October 15.

We're going paperless: Find 2020 EOCs, formularies & more online
2020 EOCs and Formulary Guides will not be mailed to members with their ANOCs this year. Members will receive an insert with their ANOC to inform them of the change. The notification will advise the member of self-service options on how to view, download or request a paper copy. View the member letter. Starting October 1, you and your clients can find 2020 plan materials online at aetnamedicare.com. Links to key resources are below.

How to designate a PCP on an application
We encourage all applicants to select a PCP when enrolling in a plan. For those enrolling in an HMO plan, this is especially important. If they don’t select a PCP, we will select one for them.
To properly indicate your client’s PCP on an enrollment form:
- Go to our online provider lookup tool (aetnamedicare.com/findprovider)
- Select a plan and then search.
- Copy down the provider's full name and the primary care ID, and also the provider ID if one is listed.
- On the application, be sure to fill in the provider's full name, the primary care ID, and the provider ID if applicable, to ensure the right PCP is assigned.
