Beginning with submitted applications for this year's Annual Enrollment Period, our team will be sending out confirmation emails for your records. These emails will be sent to you when you submit an application for your client, letting you know that we have received and processed the application.

To ensure these emails are as effective as possible, during the month of September, please ensure that your email address on file is up-to-date. The Geisinger Gold team is excited about our plans for the upcoming plan year! All of our current plans will remain stable for 2020, with no significant benefit or premium changes.

Geisinger Gold Secure Rx is a Special Needs HMO Plan designed for individuals who are eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid coverage. Secure Rx offers $0 cost-sharing* for all medical benefits, plus includes supplemental benefits, like $400 per year for eyewear and $120 every 3 months for fitness.

Geisinger Gold Secure Rx (HMO)

Secure Rx will be available across all 44 counties in our service area for plan year 2020. Improvements to benefits include:

$3,500 in dental coverage inclusive of crowns and root canals
$0 copay for up to a $3,000 hearing aid per year
$500 allowance in transportation
$700 in Personal Emergency Response System
$95 per month OTC card which can be used at Walmart, Rite Aid, Family Dollar and CVS
