New 2020 ACA Individual Market Commissions and Agency Override for Pennsylvania

This email is intended for producers in western Pennsylvania, central Pennsylvania, and northeastern Pennsylvania.

As we prepare for a successful 2020 Open Enrollment period, we’d like to share our new, simplified and competitive commission amounts for ACA individual market enrollment.

Effective Jan. 1, 2020, Highmark will pay commission amounts below on new and renewal business within all counties of our Pennsylvania market. Commission amounts are for all 2020 on- and off-marketplace plans with effective and renewal dates in 2020.

In addition, we are introducing a $4 PMPM (Per Member Per Month) general agency override for new and renewal business in PA.

New contracts with issue date in 2020	$20 PMPM
Renewal contracts with issue date in 2019 or earlier	$10 PMPM

Commissions for renewing contracts during the 2020 calendar year will adjust on the anniversary of the issue date.
Commissions are applicable to contracts with effective dates throughout 2020, including Special Enrollment contracts.
There remains a maximum of five members per contract.
Commissions will be paid on all contracts, whether submitted electronically or via paper.
