Register for the Catalyst for Payment Reform’s Virtual Event on May 17
Ever wonder how your healthcare-reform efforts will comply with existing legislation? Or what state policymakers are working on? The Catalyst for Payment Reform is hosting a FREE virtual summit on Friday, May 17, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Eastern to launch The State Laws Impacting Healthcare Cost and Quality (SLIHCQ) Database, in partnership with UCSF/UC Hastings Consortium on Law, Science and Health Policy.  The database houses state legislation governing price transparency, provider market power, provider payment, provider networks and health insurance benefit design.

The purpose of the database is to help purchasers, states and policy makers understand their legal and regulatory environment as they make efforts to improve access, quality, efficiency and reduce costs in healthcare and to serve as a publicly available, interactive tool for researchers and other stakeholders to learn more about state legal and regulatory environments, including the functionality to search which states have specific legislation in place.
