Capital BlueCross Statement on Walmart
and CVS Caremark Negotiations

Earlier this week, Capital BlueCross made you aware of the possibility that Walmart stores might leave the CVS Caremark pharmacy network, which could have affected prescription drug coverage for members who use Walmart pharmacies.
 
We are pleased to inform you that Walmart and CVS Caremark have reached an agreement for Walmart to remain in the CVS Caremark network. This means members who use Walmart pharmacies can continue to do so.
