Group Premium Payment Option Update - American Express

IMPORTANT NOTICE

UPMC Health Plan recognizes that we are one of the only carriers in the region to offer credit card payment options to its employer groups. Effective March 1, 2019, American Express will no longer be accepted by UPMC Health Plan. All other credit card transactions, including Visa, Mastercard, and Discover, will incur an additional merchant surcharge fee of 2.5%. This surcharge is subject to change as credit card vendors alter their fees.

Your clients can update their credit card information on Employer OnLine at www.upmchealthplan.com/employers/ or contact Member Services for assistance at 1-888-499-6913. Your client can also contact their Account Manager with additional questions.
