Beginning October 29, we are improving security in our Guaranteed Issue Whole Life (GIWL) ePlatform that impacts both new and existing users.
Upon log-in, all users will be required to complete a device (computer, laptop, phone, tablet, etc.) enrollment requiring that three challenge questions be answered from a pre-defined list of options. Each time a user logs-in from a different device, they will be required to answer one of the three challenge questions they selected from the initial device enrollment. Once done, the device will be enrolled. In addition, anytime the user clears their browser local storage (i.e. cookies, local data, etc.), the challenge question will be required for authorization.
Further information and FAQs are included in Bulletin 18-135.
