RE: ACTION NEEDED--Revised and New Rules for Marketing Medicare Advantage and Part D Prescription Drug Plans

You have registered for AHIP's course, "Marketing Medicare Advantage + Fraud, Waste, and Abuse."  You will need to comply with the revised and new rules from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) that apply to sales of all 2019 Medicare Advantage and Part D plans. CMS and plan sponsors will be overseeing marketing activities to ensure compliance with these requirements. Please click here to review the updated slides found in Part 4 (Marketing Medicare Advantage and Part D Plans) and Part 5 (Enrollment Guidance Medicare Advantage and Part D Plans).

Agents, brokers and marketing representatives who have completed the 2019 Marketing Medicare Advantage + Fraud, Waste, and Abuse training are required to review the updated slides, but are not required to retake the final exam.

If you have not yet taken the exam for the course, you will be expected to know the information when you take the test. We encourage you to review all slides thoroughly to ensure your readiness for the exam.
