Coventry plans
in Pennsylvania and West Virginia get a brand and logo update
As a trusted partner, we want to
let you know that in 2019, Coventry Medicare plans in Pennsylvania and
West Virginia are getting a brand and logo change. Going forward, these
plans will be branded as Aetna and will feature a new logo.
Please
know that only the
Coventry brand and logo are changing. Our relationship
with members, and with you, our producers, will remain the same. In
addition, the doctors members see today are not impacted by this
change.

Note: In 2019, you may still see “Coventry” in a few plan names, but
the branding and logo for these plans will be changed regardless.
Leveraging the
power of one Aetna brand
We’re committed to making it
easier to do business with us. And moving all of our products to one
brand is just the first step. We’re excited that this brand change
will make us easier to identify in the marketplace, and easier to
engage with.
Remember, Coventry and Aetna
have been the same company since 2013― which means your Coventry
Medicare members are already part of the Aetna family. Over the past few years, we’ve been making gradual
changes to help members become acquainted with the Aetna brand ―all in
preparation for this transition.
What happens
next?
- You’ll begin to see the updated brand and logo
for Coventry plans on various producer materials, including the
new 2019
First Look website.
- We’ll begin letting members know about these
changes in advance, to help minimize confusion. Members will start
seeing the new branding beginning in August.
- Your local Aetna Medicare market team is here
to support you! We’ll work with you this summer, and through AEP,
to ensure you have what you need to assist your clients.
- Review member
talking points.
