Find Local Help Features

Wishing there was a quick and easy way to connect with new clients? There is! The Find Local Help tool allows consumers searching for Marketplace assistance to search for registered agents and brokers based on a ZIP code, city, or state.

And now, the tool has been updated so even more potential new clients can find you.

Some of these updates include:

  • A new badge that shows the number of years you’ve been registered for the Marketplace. This badge shows off your years of service loud and proud!
  • A Search by Name feature that helps consumers find your exact contact information and allows you to locate and confirm your own contact information more easily.
  • Improved geocoding and a new address validation function within the Marketplace Learning Management System (MLMS) that allows you to correct any errors when first entering your MLMS profile address, thus reducing issues with the address listed in Find Local Help.
  • Updated selection options* in the Find Local Help Options drop-down menu of the MLMS so you can determine how your contact information will be displayed in the tool.

*The updated selection options are as follows:

  • I would like all my contact information displayed but only for my home state.
  • I would like my contact information, except my street address, displayed for all states where I have a valid health license.
  • I would like all my contact information displayed for all states where I have a valid health license.
  • I don’t want my contact information displayed and do not want to participate in Find Local Help or Help on Demand.

To make or update your selections, access your MLMS profile by following the steps listed here.

Note: Your contact information won’t be listed in the Find Local Help tool until you have completed Marketplace registration and training for plan year 2019, have a valid National Producer Number, and a valid CMS-approved line of authority.
