HIGHMARK PARTNERS WITH SHARECARE FOR HIGHLY PERSONALIZED DIGITAL EXPERIENCE

On Thursday, May 3, Highmark announced that is entering a six-year partnership with Sharecare, a national leader in consumer-driven digital health technology, exclusively offering innovative, personalized health and wellness solutions to its employer group customers in Pennsylvania, Delaware and West Virginia.

Beginning January 1, 2019, Highmark customers will have access to the Sharecare platform which provides employees all the support and tools needed to live a healthier life, no matter where employees are in their health journey. The real-time data and personalized messages are also beneficial to employers, who are looking for ways to keep employees engaged, healthy and productive.

NEW FULLY-INSURED GROUP PREMIUM BILL ENHANCEMENT

On April 30, 2018, Highmark implemented an enhancement to fully-insured group clients’ premium bill process. The enhancement allows enrollment updates made up to 8:00 p.m. on the bill generation date to be captured. This change will allow 3 additional hours of enrollment activity to be reflected on your clients’ current bill, instead of waiting for the next bill to see this activity included retroactively.

Our goal is to continuously enhance the group premium bill experience for our clients to achieve greater real-time eligibility activity.
