Group Paperwork: Post Submission Changes to Applications
Once you have submitted paperwork for a customer to Capital BlueCross, Underwriting may return it for updates and changes to be completed by the group. To make the updates, always use the application Underwriting provides. The person making the updates must initial and date the paperwork.
 
Large Group Custom HRA Applications
Updated! The HRA Applications (HDP-11 and HDP-12) for the Large Group Custom segment now include the option to cover prescription drug cost-sharing under the HRA. If you’re selling this option, remember members must log in to their secure account page at capbluecross.com and request that the claim be processed for each prescription purchase (just as for an HSA/HRA stacked plan). Make it easy and download the Managing Your Prescription Reimbursement Online flyer to share with your groups and their members.
 
Amazing! Capital BlueCross Ranks Highest Among Health Insurers Nationally for Fourth Year
Capital BlueCross today announced that, for the fourth straight year, from 2014 to 2017, it scored higher than all health insurance companies nationally that are tracked in the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) Syndicated Study, the only cross-industry benchmark of its kind. 
On a scale of 100, with 100 being the most satisfied, Capital BlueCross’ score is 80, the highest among health insurance companies tracked by the index. Capital BlueCross further improved its leadership position from prior years and exceeded the health insurance industry average by 7 points.

St. Hilaire, President and CEO, Capital BlueCross. “Capital BlueCross is dedicated to providing exceptional service that focuses on the individual needs of our members, while also driving innovation in health care to improve the health and well-being of our community.”

The ACSI, developed at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, provides an independent perspective of customer satisfaction that quantifies customers’ perceptions of their experience with a product or service. Capital BlueCross’ score is based on a random sample of its current customers.
 
Salesforce Tip! Rep Assignment Lookup
Did you know you can search for your Capital BlueCross Account Manager or Sales Executive? Salesforce makes it easy. Search for your agency’s account record, just as you would search for a group account. The “Account Record Detail” will list the assigned Capital BlueCross representatives. If you do not work for an agency, or your agency is not appointed, search using your name.
 
If a field is blank and you are working with a prospect within that assignment, contact your Preferred Producer.
 
Producer of Record (POR) Letter for Renewal Groups
Don’t forget! Have your renewing groups complete and return the redesigned POR letter to Capital BlueCross. When Capital BlueCross has the new POR on file, we can more accurately track and consider your group's book of business for incentive programs. Also, we can initiate the eGems process for you and the group. The letters can be submitted anytime and do not need to correspond with the group's renewal effective date. We ask that updated letters are received by Capital BlueCross prior to December 1, 2018.

At the start, some things will look new while others remain the same—but the experience will be all smooth sailing as we work to update the entire site.
