Last December, UnitedHealthcare announced that a new signature capability was available in LEAN™ for AARP^® Medicare Supplement Insurance Plans, insured by UnitedHealthcare Insurance Company. Consumers in three states - Indiana, Pennsylvania and Utah had the option to sign their applications via voice signature through you, their agent.

Unfortunately, as of January 31, 2018, the Voice Signature capability has been removed from LEAN in order for enhancements to be made.
 
As we work to put updates in place, please continue to submit AARP Medicare Supplement applications as you would normally via LEAN (with touch screen or signature pad option and the applicant present) or the paper enrollment kits. We thank you for your patience and apologize for the inconvenience this may cause you and your clients. We will notify you when the enhancements have been made and the Voice Signature capability becomes available again.
