SAINT VINCENT HOSPITAL AND UPMC HAMOT MUTALLY DISSOLVE RCC PARTNERSHIP

Saint Vincent Hospital and UPMC Hamot, joint owners of the Regional Cancer Center (RCC) in Erie, have reached a mutual decision to dissolve their RCC partnership and move forward in establishing independent cancer programs over the next few years. Saint Vincent and UPMC Hamot will remain at the RCC during this period, and are committed to ensuring that patients will continue to receive high-quality, uninterrupted care during this time.

To better serve the Erie area and surrounding communities, a new Allegheny Health Network (AHN) Cancer Center on Saint Vincent’s campus will be built and open its doors in fourth quarter 2019. When complete, the new AHN Cancer Center will offer patients unique access to the full spectrum of integrated, enhanced cancer care, higher levels of convenience and faster access to care by world-class health care professionals.
