UPMC Pinnacle opens primary-care practice in downtown Harrisburg
Listen to this articleOfficials from UPMC and Harristown Enterprises, owner of the mixed-use Strawberry Square complex, celebrated the opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday. The new practice opened this morning on the first floor of the complex, adjacent to the indoor entrance to Rite Aid and the former Modern Jewelers space.
The office has six exam rooms, a community conference room, a patient registration and waiting area and laboratory services. Dr. Robert Little and Judith Schambach, a certified registered nurse practitioner, will see patients in the new practice from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The office is now accepting new patients.
Plans for the new facility were announced in August. Silver Spring Township-based R.S. Mowery & Sons, which does business as Mowery, handled the construction for the space.
