in an AARP® Medicare Supplement Insurance Plan, insured
by UnitedHealthcare Insurance Company, who wishes to switch to
another AARP Medicare Supplement Plan?
No problem!
1. For current insured members with plan effective dates of
June 1, 2010 through June 1, 2017: Agents
should use the Plan Change Rate
Charts to assist in providing a rate quote for 2018 plan
effective dates. These can be found on Jarvis under Knowledge
Center > Product Overview > Medicare Supplement > Rates
and Underwriting > Choose your state and click on the 2018 Plan
Changer Rate PDF.
2. For
current insured members with plan effective dates of July 1, 2017
and later: Agents can use 2018 rate pages found within the 2018
enrollment kit to provide a rate quote when requesting a plan
change.
3. For current insured members with plan effective dates
prior to June 1, 2010: Agents
must have the insured member submit a new application, and the 2018
annual rate change information chart will apply. Underwriting will
also be applied towards these applications.
