Sales Compensation Information
The Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) is here, and
UnitedHealthcare is committed to paying your commissions in a timely
manner throughout the year! Below are a few reminders for 2018
enrollments:
- The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid
Services (CMS) requires that agent-level commissions for the sale
of Medicare Advantage (MA) and Prescription Drug Plans (PDP) be
paid in the year that the enrollment becomes effective.
- We will issue agent-level commission payments
for January 1, 2018 effectives the first week of January 2018.
- UnitedHealthcare uses information released in a
CMS report in January to determine initial or renewal rates. Your
first payment will be the renewal rate for January 1, 2018
effectives. If the CMS report indicates a sale is New to Medicare,
it is eligible for initial rate compensation, and an additional
payment will be issued for the full initial rate.
Watch your commission dollars grow
UnitedHealthcare commission statements show projected payment for sales
of MA and PDP enrollments with 2018 effective dates. You can see
your cumulative payment total, so you know what to expect when
commissions are paid out in early January. The 2018 projected payments
will be updated weekly.
Tips to receive your commission sooner!

- Use LEAN!
It allows for the quickest processing of applications and
commissions.
- If you must submit paper applications, ensure
the writing
ID is written legibly in the appropriate section
and the email or fax has transmitted successfully.
- Sign up for Direct Deposit on Jarvis.
It is quick, easy, and real-time.
