2018 Community Blue Medicare HMO Printed Provider Directories
It was recently discovered that St. Luke’s Hospital in addition to their affiliated physicians were erroneously included in the 2018 Community Blue Medicare HMO printed provider directories that were recently sent to agents with their initial kit orders. While St. Luke’s Hospital and their affiliated physicians were included in the Community Blue Medicare HMO network for 2017, they will not be in-network for 2018 for Community Blue Medicare HMO members.
Please make sure you destroy any printed copies of the 2018 Community Blue Medicare HMO provider directories you may have on hand. In addition, please do not provide any printed copies to prospective or current members. Starting early next week, Highmark will be shipping every agent who previously ordered enrollment kits or Community Blue Medicare HMO provider directories two (2) copies of the updated Community Blue Medicare HMO provider directory for 2018. If additional directories are needed, agents are encouraged to place an order through ShopPRO.
The Community Blue Medicare PPO, Security Blue HMO and Freedom Blue PPO provider directories for 2018 have been verified for accuracy and should continue to be used.
