    • The Trump Administration announced it will no longer fund the ACA’s cost-sharing payments. NAHU is concerned that this could lead to increasingly destabilized markets and is advocating for Congress to appropriate funds.
    • President Trump issued an executive order directing federal agencies to expand Association Health Plans, short-term plans and HRAs.
    • NAHU met with Trump Administration officials this week to discuss our recommendations and future regulatory actions by the agency.
    • President Trump announced that Eric Hargan will serve as the acting HHS secretary, replacing Don Wright, who served on an interim basis following Tom Price’s resignation. Hargan was confirmed as deputy secretary last week.
