Compliance Connection: Guidelines for assisting your clients prior to October 1
As you know, the Annual Election Period (AEP) runs from October 15 to December 7. The first day you can begin marketing 2018 plans is October 1. As a reminder, you must cease marketing 2017 products starting October 1 too, unless a beneficiary inquires specifically about 2017 plans. You can now pre-order 2018 enrollment kits through Producer World if you’re ready to sell for 2018. The target delivery date for all pre-ordered 2018 kits is October 1 or sooner. You can review how to pre-order kits here.

AEP marketing materials
|
- On September 18, you can begin pre-ordering AEP marketing materials on the Aetna Medicare Marketing Studio. All pre-orders will be processed, reviewed, approved, created and then held.
- Materials will be shipped or mailed starting September 30.
- You can begin downloading materials on October 1; the download links won’t work until then.

Moratorium on hierarchy changes from October 1 to January 1
As a reminder, there is a moratorium on hierarchy changes from October 1 to January 1. This rule is in place so we can prioritize processing new contract requests submitted during AEP. This policy is on page 47 of the Aetna Medicare Producer Guide. If you need to make a hierarchy change, please make sure you submit your request through nomoreforms by September 30.
NoMoreForms moves to HTML5—Here's what to expect
We’ve made our online contracting site, nomoreforms, even easier to access! You can now access the site, across all platforms, including on mobile devices. Plus, your web browser no longer has to support Adobe Acrobat, which was an obstacle for some users in the past.
We’ve also made a few visual changes to the login page, forms list, and to some of the forms themselves (e.g., the Contract Information Sheet, the W-9 form, and the EFT Authorization form). In addition, you can now open a printable PDF of your forms after completing them.

Don't forget, you MUST attend 2018 market-specific training (online or in person) if you plan to sell 2018 MA/MAPD

This training is required in addition to your annual certification. Just go to AetnaMedicareAgentTraining.com to sign up for a 2018 training. Remember, you need to complete a 2018 market-specific training for every state and market where you plan to sell our MA/MAPD products. Online and in-person training sessions are available.
