Help more AFA members get their Apple Watch®
We're extending our Apple Watch offer to more Aetna Funding Advantage (AFA) members! Starting with 10/1 effective dates, all new business employees who enroll in a Small Group (5-100) AFA medical plan can get an Apple Watch for as low as $25 - as long as you use Springboard Marketplace for enrollment. Here's how to get your client's employees a watch:
- Sell an AFA plan with Springboard platform
- Provide all member email addresses in Springboard census template - each email address must be unique*
- Complete either employee- or broker-led enrollment in Springboard
Note: Employee-led enrollment in Springboard is our preferred method. Employees who complete their own enrollment can access the Apple Watch offer at time of enrollment. If you complete enrollment on behalf of your group, employees will receive an alert with instructions for accessing their watch 7 business days after you submit enrollment in Springboard.
*We cannot offer an Apple Watch to employees who do not have a unique email address listed on the Springboard Census template at time of case submission.
Renewals
Starting with 11/1 renewal dates, this offer also applies to employees of groups renewing their AFA plan or switching to AFA from an Aetna fully-insured plan. Employees will be able to get an Apple Watch when they enroll or you enroll them in an AFA medical plan through Springboard.
Members who complete their own enrollment will be able to select and purchase a watch at that time. For broker-led enrollment, you can use our email template to send employees their username and password for accessing the Apple Watch when enrollment is complete.
