2018 small group Affordable Care Act (ACA) product update

Correction: In the state of Delaware, our Aetna Funding Advantage (AFA) plans require a minimum of 16 eligible and 10 enrolled employees. The content below has been updated to reflect that.

Starting with January 1, 2018 effective dates, we will offer four ACA benefit options in Delaware. Small group new business and renewals seeking an ACA option for 2018 can purchase one of these plans. You can still access self-service for ACA quotes via Producer World®.

With 5 months to go until 2018, we are still working hard to finalize and publish our benefit offerings. However, we wanted to inform you of the change to our ACA portfolio as soon as possible. Once plan designs are available, we will post them on Producer World®.

Consider AFA
Our AFA plans provide cost control, flexibility and simplicity to small businesses with 16 eligible, 10 enrolled to 50 employees. These self-funded plans include completely digital enrollment and plan administration with employee wellness activated by Apple Watch®. We will offer AFA plans to eligible customers and our AFA Small Group Underwriting Unit will handle quoting for all groups with less than 51 employees.
