Melinda provides executive leadership for Strategic Telehealth Solutions for UPMC Health Plan. In her Strategic Telehealth role, Melinda manages the telehealth strategy development process, recommends appropriate strategic initiatives for virtual visits, remote patient monitoring, and telemedicine, and evaluates critical components of the UPMC telehealth strategies across the enterprise.
Previously Melinda was the Director of Telehealth at Reid Health in Indiana, where she led the implementation of teleconsult centers, virtual urgent care, remote patient monitoring, telestroke, 24/7 nurse call line, and a teletranslation service. Before joining Reid, Melinda was the President of a startup company offering a patented probiotic product to manage refractory C. difficile.
