As a reminder, AHIP released their 2018 Medicare training, and the 2017 version is no longer available. Keep in mind AHIP is one of our annual training requirements, and the 2018 version will suffice to market/sell both 2017 and 2018 WellCare products.
Cost Coverage
WellCare offers a $50 cost coverage for the AHIP training requirement. In order to receive the WellCare/AHIP discount, producers must access and complete the 2018 AHIP through the co-branded link:

Note: WellCare will NOT reimburse money paid towards training.
In addition, please ensure a successful transfer of your AHIP to WellCare through the steps outlined below:
Producer transmitting AHIP to WellCare for the first time:
1. Login to AHIP using the WellCare/AHIP co-branded link.
2. Access your profile.
3. Once in your profile, add either your National Producer Number (NPN) or WellCare University (LMS) ID to provide recognition for a successful transfer to WellCare. Your LMS ID is the username you use to login to WellCare University, and is typically the first initial of your first name, your last name and the last four digits of your Social Security Number (SSN).
Example: JDoe0000 for John Doe ***-**-0000.
Producers who have previously transmitted AHIP to WellCare:
1. Login and complete 2018 AHIP.
2. After you have successfully completed the AHIP training, a “Completion Transmission” page will display confirming automatic submission of your AHIP score to WellCare University.
