Starting tomorrow, you can get illustrative quotes for Aetna Funding Advantage (AFA) on our SMART (Small Market Aetna Rating Tool) platform. SMART builds on the QRS system you already know and use for Affordable Care Act (ACA) plans. SMART makes it easy to get an accurate, real-time illustrative quote for AFA - with the ability to quickly re-quote when needed.
A better proposal
We also have an enhanced illustrative and underwritten proposal for Aetna Funding Advantage. You can check out the new illustrative proposal today, our new underwritten proposal launches for 8/1 effective dates. Improvements include:
- View of all four components of monthly payment (claims funding, stop loss premium, claims run out and administrative costs)
- Review plan availability for each member to take advantage of value-based care networks and set up out-of-state coverage
- See ancillary products (dental, vision and life/disability) on the same proposal as medical

Note: SMART illustrative quoting and the new proposal will be available in all AFA markets by 8/1.
