Highmark is pleased to announce the newly enhanced Highmark Medicare Producer Hotline. Starting today, Monday, April 10, 2017, the Highmark Medicare Producer Hotline and mailbox will be ready to answer more of your questions.
Available Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM at 1-800-652-9459, the Medicare Producer Hotline will now be able to assist you with the following:
- Benefit, Claims, Formulary, Network Inquiries (representatives still available until 5:00 PM)
- Application or Enrollment Status
- NEW! Contracting, Ready To Sell, Licensing, Appointments and Training Status
- NEW! Senior Business Commission Inquiries*
- Website Assistance (password reset, portal issues, ShopPRO, Heeter)
*Please note only general information regarding the status of commissions will be provided; monetary amounts will not be discussed. Agents making specific inquiries regarding commissions will be directed back to their FMO or General Agency.
The upfront prompts have been updated to align with this enhancement. Below are the prompts you will hear upon calling Highmark’s Medicare Producer Hotline:
- For Current or Prospective Member Benefits, Claims, Formulary or Network Inquiries, press 1.
- All other inquiries, press 2 or stay on the line
- To repeat this menu, press 3
In addition to the enhanced Medicare Producer Hotline, they also have a NEW mailbox for commission related inquires. They have decided to consolidate the regional mailboxes so, moving forward, all commission inquiries should be submitted to HMSeniorCompensation@highmark.com.
