Oral Chemotherapy Medications Mandate

A new Pennsylvania state mandate requires parity between oral chemotherapy medications and intravenously administered or injected chemotherapy medications.

• All fully insured customers are required to cover this benefit.
• Capital BlueCross customized ASO customers with Capital BlueCross Rx benefit may opt in.
• Capital BlueCross will apply the mandated benefits to both the Small Business ASO and ASO Signature products.
