November 2016 - April 2017 Effective Dates

2-50 Market Segment 

  • Sell a group with 2-10 enrolled contracts and receive $25 per contract bonus
  • Sell a group with 11-29 enrolled contracts and receive $50 per contract bonus
  • Sell a group with 30-50 enrolled contracts and receive $100 per contract bonus

51-100 Market Segment
  • Quote a group that has 51-100 enrolled contracts and receive $25 for every quote you send us
  • Sell a group that has 51-100 enrolled contracts and receive $100 per enrolled contract

101-500 Market Segment
  • Sell a group with 101-500 enrolled contracts and receive $35 per contract bonus
  • Sell a group with 101-500 enrolled contracts in the MyCare Advantage Network and receive a $45 per contract bonus

501+ Market Segment
  • Sell a group with 500+ enrolled contracts and receive $40 per contract bonus
  • Sell a group with 500+ enrolled contracts in the MyCare Advantage Network and receive a $50 per contract bonus
Terms and conditions 
  • Payment will be made within 90 days for all eligible effective dates.  Determination and payment of earned rewards under this program are at the sole discretion of UPMC Health Plan.
  • UPMC Health Plan may, at its sole discretion, cancel, amend, terminate, or suspend the program at any time
  • Program applies to new business only.  Groups must be full replacement to qualify.
  • Payment of any applicable earned rewards under this plan will be payable to the writing producer and paid through the general agency, if applicable.
  • For a producer to qualify for sold group incentive, the group must remain in force with UPMC Health Plan for 12 months from the effective date
  • Only employer groups with 2-50, 51-100, 101-500 and 500 or greater employees qualify.
  • Incentive will be paid on initial enrollment count on effective date
  • Market segment is based upon total average employee count from the preceding calendar year
  • Maximum bonus paid on any one group is no greater than $25,000
  • This bonus applies to fully insured and self-funded business. The self-funded new group bonus only applies if UPMC stop loss is used.
UPMC Health Plan reserves the right to recoup any or all rewards paid as part of this program if it determines at any time that any program requirement is or was not satisfied. Recovery of paid rewards by UPMC Health Plan will be conducted by offsetting producer or agency commission payments, as applicable unless other payment arrangements are made and agreed to in writing by UPMC Health Plan.
