• Health Insurance companies and certain employers are required to provide information to members and the Internal Revenue Service that confirms their members have minimum essential coverage (MEC).
• An employer’s health plan and the number of employees determine the filing requirements.
• All 1095-B and 1095-C forms to members/employees must be post-marked by March 2, 2017.
