Highmark has conducted market research over the past couple of months and confirmed that many Medicare eligibles are unclear about what their health insurance coverage includes. Medicare eligibles are also interested in having a face-to-face consultation to review their health plan with an expert. Enhancing the experience of our members by educating them about their insurance coverage, shortly after they enroll in a Highmark Medicare Advantage plan, will lead to increased member satisfaction.

To meet this need, Highmark has developed content that will walk members through a comprehensive review of their coverage, including definitions of common terms, explanation of Part D coverage and tiers,  exclusive member programs, tips that could save our members money when utilizing services and more. This content will be reviewed during “Medicare Know-How” member events that are being hosted at four (4) Highmark Retail Stores in Pittsburgh.

We wanted to make you aware of these meetings in case you have any clients that would benefit from attending. Please note that the meetings are educational in nature and sales opportunities will not be discussed. Meetings are being hosted from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm on the following Wednesdays at all four locations:
