2017 Individual Product Training Now Available

The individual product training for the upcoming 2017 Open Enrollment Period is now available on the producer portal. Because there are many changes to the 2017 individual market portfolio, please review the portfolio training module to ensure that you understand all of the new plan options and changes for 2017. Additionally, the sales process training will review all 2017 producer requirements for selling plans, including the mandatory use of the producer portal to submit all off-Marketplace business electronically. Highmark will no longer support submission of paper applications for open enrollment.

Log in to the producer portal and search the Resources under the Health Care Reform section for the below list of training modules and support materials. Blue Edge Dental plans will be modified for 2017, information is forthcoming.

NEPA 2017 Product Training

Current members will begin to receive letters that outline whether they will be renewed or if their plan will discontinue in 2017 which will require them to shop for a new plan. Details of these two scenarios is included in the portfolio training.
