Are You Ready for Open Enrollment?

Are you planning to help your clients enroll in coverage when open enrollment begins in November? All agents and brokers must complete the federal marketplace registration and training in order to assist consumers with enrollment through Healthcare.gov. NAHU members are encouraged to become certified through NAHU’s federal marketplace agent and broker training program, the only program operated by an agent/broker association. Offered through NAHU’s Online Learning Institute, our course includes webinar modules, a final exam, the ability to access our live help desk by phone or email to receive real-time assistance with technical questions, and the opportunity to earn continuing education (CE) credits issued on a state-by-state basis. Additionally, NAHU members can renew their certification for the low price of $57.99 (even those who completed training and certification on any platform last year—including through CMS directly). Click here to register.

Agents and brokers who successfully completed plan year 2016 registration can only assist consumers through October 31, 2016, when plan year 2016 agreements expire. Agents and brokers must complete plan year 2017 registration and training to be able to assist consumers with 2016 coverage during November and December 2016, or to help consumers enroll for the first time or re-enroll in coverage for plan year 2017.

Why NAHU’s Training:

  • NAHU is the only agent/broker association to operate as a CMS vendor for the FFM agent and broker training program for plan year 2017.
  • NAHU’s Online Learning Institute is a proven source for brokers in need of CE.
  • Training meets CMS reporting verification requirements.
  • CE credits filed in 50 states.
  • You have access to NAHU’s live Help Desk and technical-support team by phone and email.
  • Self-study at your fingertips—NAHU's training bookmarks your progress so you can pick up where you left off.
