Notice for Aetna Health Maintenance Organizations (HMO), Aetna Choice Point of Service® (CPOS) and Quality Point of Service® (QPOS) health plans
We want to keep you informed of changes that will impact your clients. In an effort to make things more efficient, we are moving our plans to one platform.
Impact to your clients:
- Aetna Open Access® HMO plan name changes to Aetna Health Network OnlySM
- Aetna Choice POS plan name changes to Aetna Health Network OptionSM
- Policy numbers and members number will change
- Explanation of Benefits will have a new look
We will be sending impacted plan sponsors the attached letter in late August to notify them of these changes.
