COMMISSION INFORMATION FOR SMALL GROUP (2-50)


 

Every year, Highmark evaluates the existing commission structure in the small group market. Any necessary commission adjustments are typically made effective July 1 and aim to accomplish several key objectives:

 

  • Maintain or improve our competitive positioning in the market
  • Create additional opportunities for growth among top performing producers
  • Improve our ability to serve and support our Elite Agencies, so they can continue to serve and support our mutual customers


The purpose of this communication is simply to advise that we're temporarily delaying the implementation of any commission changes in the small group market. No adjustments to the existing commission structure will be implemented for July 1. We're currently considering a number of options in this market and expect to announce commission structure details in October 2016 for a January 2017 effective date.
