Short Term Blue payment processing issue
Due to an issue processing credit card payments, Short Term Blue applications cannot be submitted electronically. Please see below for how to submit applications with a check or to pay by credit card. Producers will be notified when this issue is resolved.

Pay by check
Producers should complete the paper application, and mail it to the address on the application. You must include a check for the member's full premium and a copy of your producer certificate.

Payment is required at time of application, and Highmark cannot accept credit cards by fax, email or mail.
Pay by credit card
Producers should hold the application and process once the system is operational.
- Contact producer hotline at 1-866-602-1248 to open an inquiry and receive an inquiry number. Please provide your client's effective date when you call.
- Once the system is functioning, submit the application through the producer portal using the next day as the effective date (this is the earliest date the system will permit).
- Call producer hotline, provide them with your inquiry number, and state that you submitted the application.
The application will be processed, and the effective date will be corrected, based on your inquiry.
2016 Special Enrollment Period forms now available
Reminder: The deadline for open enrollment submissions for a Jan. 1, 2016 effective date is today, Dec. 15, 2015. Applications submitted Dec. 16 through Dec. 31 for a Jan. 1 effective date must qualify for a Special Enrollment Period (SEP) and be accompanied by the SEP form.
New SEP forms have been created for 2016. Please begin using these new forms immediately. They can be found in the Resources section of the producer portal.
