The new business process just got easier

Take a look at the new business underwriting checklist for Aetna small groups with 50 or fewer employees. Since you saw it last, it's been revised and updated. We've simplified our requirements and created helpful tips with you in mind. 

Here are just some of the improvements:

  • Quarterly wage and tax statement only required on groups with fewer than 6 enrolled
  • Signed final rates no longer needed in every case (UW will determine)
  • Directions for the eList tool for faster, simpler service
  • Updated checklist reminders
  • New Jersey and New York please note: the NB411 form (electronic enrollment, billing/payment, and access agreement) is required for all groups. This form authorizes the setup of e-enrollment and e-billing, and it must be filled out to authorize use of eLists for electronic eligibility.
