First Look at Aetna’s 2016 MA/MAPD and PDP products!

Information in our 2016 First Look, including 2016 plan designs and service areas, is pending government approval and is therefore subject to change.

Highlights of our 2016 MA/MAPD products

• We offer Medicare Advantage plans (MA, MAPD) in 33 states plus D.C. – Includes 133 NEW counties!
• We have more $0 premium plans than ever before – 523 out of 742 counties will have $0 premium plan options.
• Coverage for a no-cost membership to a fitness facility is included for most plans.

Highlights of our 2016 PDP products

• We offer three standalone Medicare prescription drug plans (PDP) in all 50 states and DC with:
  • Lower premiums on two of the three plans
  • $1 copay on preferred generics (Tier 1) in the preferred network on all plans
  • $0 deductibles on two of the three plans
• Plans offer a simplified network structure with more preferred pharmacies.
• Plans include robust formulary with improved generic access.

Rules you need to follow

Remember, Aetna’s First Look document is for producer-use only. It’s confidential and proprietary. This means:

1. You’re not permitted to market 2016 plans/benefits until October 1, 2015.
2. You can’t share the First Look document with beneficiaries.
3. You can’t discuss any information in our First Look document (i.e., 2016 plans or benefits) with beneficiaries until October 1, 2015.
4. You can’t post it on any public websites.
5. You are not permitted to market 2016 plans/benefits until October 1, 2015, and you must be “ready to sell” for 2016 before doing so.

To become “ready to sell” our 2016 Aetna and Coventry Individual MA/MAPD and PDP products and receive commissions, you’ll need to complete several requirements prior to marketing or selling. Learn more.
