One of our big media hits this week features San Diego AHU member Craig Gussin. Craig was quoted in an Associated Press article that was published in over 110 media outlets. He states key points that assist college students through different health coverage options. Gussin explains how a student can receive supplement care from the campus’s health station for a fee. “That way, the student has a place to go on campus if a sinus infection crops up but can save major care for home in between semesters. That may be a good choice for students who will remain covered under a parent's health insurance plan,” said Gussin. Also, David Mordo, member of New Jersey’s Monmouth Ocean AHU chapter, was quoted in the Philadelphia Inquirer on consumers buying coverage during the enrollment periods. "They put these deadlines in place to protect from people gaming the system," said Mordo.

In addition to our media coverage, NAHU’s full Annual Report details each department’s activities and diligent efforts throughout 2014.
