Preventive Care Update: USPSTF Preventing Dental Caries in Children:

• Effective May 5, 2015, Capital BlueCross will update our schedule of preventive care services based on recommendations of the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF).
• Additional preventive care services to prevent dental caries in children when administered by a primary care clinician will be covered by individual, group and ASO plans offered by Capital.
• Group Administrators will receive an email later this month advising of the change. Draft language is provided for producer reference in assisting their customers.
