Effective with 7/1/15 new business quotes, we will no longer offer tobacco rates. This means small group rates will not vary for smokers vs non-smokers. This change will also apply to existing customers, upon their renewal, beginning with July 2015 renewals.
We hope this change will simplify quoting and invoices for you and your clients who are already navigating the complexities of the Affordable Care Act and age rated plans. As a result of this change, we will be discontinuing tobacco surveys on all 1-50 cases effective 7/1/15 in DE, PA and WV.
